Technician

Fast paced general ophthalmology clinic seeking a well-qualified  technician with a positive attitude,  to be a key player in clinic. Applicants should be able to do patient work-ups, and have extensive experience in testing, including OCT, visual fields, photos, IOL master, topo.  Position requires exceptional communication and time management skills. Must be computer literate. We have a great team that works hard, but enjoys all the benefits of working with a smaller, close knit staff.  This is a full time position, available immediately.  Salary is dependent on certification and skill set. Experienced Technicians

Colorado Retina Associates is seeking experienced technicians. This position will provide support and assistance to the Physician in providing direct care and ophthalmologic testing. The individual will obtain subjective medical information documenting findings in the medical record. The tech also administers certain eye medications under the supervision of the Physician as well as assist with in-office surgical procedures. Certified COA or COT preferred but not necessary. This position does require travel to our multiple offices in the Denver Metro area. Experienced Ophthalmic Technician

Experienced Ophthalmic technician needed for busy, general ophthalmology practice with one ophthalmologist and one optometrist. Duties include routine eye exams, including history, refraction (retinoscopy preferred), applanation tonometry, and visual fields. Experience on IOL master, and Optovue OCT preferred. Other duties include cataract pre-op exams, contact lens teaches, ordering and stocking back office supplies, occasional front office, and whatever else is necessary for the functioning of the back office. Experience in optical is a plus as well. We also have a cosmetic branch to the practice that is expanding, and have some very exciting changes planned for the near future. Hours are MTWF 8-5, and Thurs afternoon; great benefit package included. I need someone who has good organizational skills who can be my go-to person to get things done in the back office.
