Pat Cushman was independently nominated for the Technician of the Year.
Pat has been a member of RMOP for over 10 years and has been the program coordinator for Denver for the past three years. She will be receiving a $100.00 award and certificate as well as a certificate for her employer's office, Colorado Retina Associates. Following is the information that was received in her nominations:
"Pat is genuinely a great person. Her dedication to her career is inspiring to all who work and have worked with her. Her pursuit of knowledge in the retina ophthalmic world is what takes her to a new and inspiring level of technician. She is a dedicated employee and helps all who ask or need training and mentoring. Her research and dedication lead her to planning symposiums and classes to help others advance their own careers.
The vote for Technician of the Year took place at the board of directors annual meeting on April 29.
